Eternal Youth Here with Finley Christine

ETERNAL YOUTH HERE, a solo-show by C. Finley, December 2015 featured vibrant paintings of the artist’s signature elements: wild colors, sensuality, and geometry that emanate positive energy and celebrate divine interventions. These works are conceived as talismans that the artist has charged with color, unconditional love, and joy. Inspired by the project she curated in NYC in 2014 The Whitney Houston Biennial: I’m Every Woman, C. Finley will morph the Con Artist Collective gallery space into an active site to host salon style performances in collaboration with other artists. The space will remain indefinable: a laboratory, an altar, a happening, a stage, and a dance floor spilling out the front door into the neighborhood - a fluid space inviting conversation, community, and intervention. The Wallpaper Dumpster Project, Finley’s own brand of street art that has been executed on the streets of Rome, Vienna and New York, transforms environmental activism into unexpected beauty; and through this public art project provides monuments of joy, laughter and discovery for any passersby.
