Louda Larrian Collaborations
Honored to collaborate with designer, Louda Larrian, Coco first participated in the infamous ART SALON at Gilles and Louda Larrain's SOHO studio loft. Since then Coco has modeled for both Gille and Louda and has an ongoing artistic conversation with Louda that engages the way a dancer is moved by what she moves in, and a costumes ability to create new worlds and realities in a performed space. Together Coco And Louda have collaborated to create:
Up, See, Daze (2012), a solo that is a duet with the flip side of things... performed at Ibeam Brooklyn, with pianist Koh Ohtera, and at Katz Deli Gallery Project with tumpet player Daniel Carter.
Masks (2013), a deut for dancer and flutist using Oliver Knussen's directional score for flute and glass chimes Masks (1970). This work toured to Seoul South Korea with Ear to Mind, under the creative direction of Inhyun Kim, feathuring flutist, Luna Chulong Kang. It had its New York premiere at Carnegie Hall, Zankel Hall.
